October, 2006 - Threading AppKit
Darrin Cardani has made available the examples from his excellent presentation on multithreading at our October meeting.
2005 - CocoaSpot
Steve Gehrman had an idea for an app that would index all the Cocoa code on his Mac so that when he needed a snippet of something for PathFinder, it would be right there waiting for him.
So, for one of our very first meetings, we all gathered around Steve's monitors, took the /Developer/Examples/AppKit/Spotlighter example and built the first iteration of Steve's dream app which we called CocoaSpot.
It was a fun exercise as we all stumbled through learning about Spotlight metadata queries and getting bindings to work with array controllers.
Steve's now made the project from that night available.
(We could all still use this app. Any takers?)
